About
A bountiful share. Our only complaint has been too much food. We grow for local restaurants, so our shares contain many heirloom and specialty vegetables. A typical box from last July contained; arugula, beans/french, beans/snap, beets, cabbage, celery, cukes, carrots, greens (Kale, chard, mustard, or turnip), eggplant, fennel, okra, onions/yellow/red, peppers hot/sweet, potatoes yukon/fingerling/red, scallions, squash (3 varieties) cantaloupe, basil, an assortment of up to 10 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, kohlrabi, fresh herbs, and head lettuce or salad mix. Contents vary by month. Half share members get the standard box bi-weekly instead of weekly. Our customers have told us: "Jake's Farm CSA was a breath of fresh air! Each week we faithfully received an abundance of fresh fruits and veggies."
