Our mission is to connect, inspire and engage you to embrace the growers, artisans, stores and restaurants devoted to our region’s local flavors and culinary traditions.
We will shine our appreciative light on the bread makers, the herbalists, the farmers, the chefs, the brewers, the millers and the vintners who make the extra effort to produce local and fresh.
Michigan is second only to California in the variety of foods it produces and continually ranks in the top three states for microbreweries (look for that story in our February issue).
We are a region filled with bountiful farms, markets, ranches, dairies, stores and restaurants devoted to bringing you local, fresh and healthy food year ’round.
As the seasons change, so will we~through our experiences, our growing knowledge, our talented staff of writers and photographers, and your stories. We will inform you as to the who, what, when, where and how so that you may enjoy the very best that our region has to offer.
