On the shores of Lake Tahoe at Commons Beach, the Tahoe City Downtown Association, Tahoe City Public Utility District and Foothill Farmers Market come together to offer visitors and residents access to California certified farm-fresh, fruits, vegetables, flowers, and more.
This annual event runs from May through October every Thursday afternoon in the Commons Beach parking lot in Downtown Tahoe City. While a Farmers Market is nothing new to most, this market is literally the most beautiful place you'll ever buy strawberries or try a flatbread with curry. Our market vendors get on a waiting list to be at the Tahoe City market and coupled with an afternoon exploring Downtown or lunch on the beach, it's a great way to spend the day in Tahoe City.
