About
Members begin the summer season receiving their share in the form of bags delivered to drop off points in the local area. As soon as farmers markets open, members can then choose their own items and they are charged the per pound price and then deducted from their original payment. The fall/winter program is exclusively pre-made box delivery with varied sizes: half, full or deluxe. Deliveries are twice each month (approximately two weeks apart). Members are emailed ahead of time notifying day of pickup and what the bag contains plus additional items. Produce varies according to the season. Summer vegetables include lettuce, tomatoes, melons, summer squash and fall and winter vegetable include some of the above with the addition of leafy greens, broccoli, carrots, potatoes, winter squash to name a few
