About
High Sierra Beef provides retail cuts to Placer Grown CSA Also, we are in the process of starting up a meat buyers club, which will have grass fed beef, grass fed lamb, and pork available.
Oregon House Farms has been raising grass fed Angus cattle for 18 years. We were grass fed before grass fed was cool. To enhance the sustainability of the farm, the owner, Jenny Brown also raises fresh garden vegetables, heritage sweet corn and the most beautiful French Rouge Vif d'Etampes Cinderalla Coach pumpkins. This year, a dream came to fruition, and Jenny converted a 100 year old barn into the Oregon House Farms Store. As owner of High Sierra Beef, Inc., an all grass fed to finish beef, the farm store provides a location for folks to buy retail cuts of freshly harvested beef as well as all the fresh produce and fruits in season. Jenny hopes to be able to have a Certified Organic Farmers market at the farm soon.
