About
We offer pesticide free fruits, vegetabables, herbs, and eggs in the Merced, Atwater, Livingston, and Turlock areas. Our door to door shares are filled but we can add you to a current drop location! We will extend to other area if we have a large enough group. Currently we are working on getting a group together in Modesto so email me if you are interested! We will also have a group in the Sonora/Twain Harte area that will begin back up in the spring. Boxes have a variety of offerings and are quite generous, they are a great savings if you purchase organic in the grocery store. With each delivery there is a description of what is in the box as well as a recipe or two.
At Z & D Frago FAMILY Farms we have been growing almonds and gardening on our land since 2004. We have grown up farming, it is in our blood and it goes many generations back! We recently started our CSA for a few reasons: our family and friends love getting our wonderful pesticide free produce and told us we needed to make it available to others, we believe in eating healthy, buying local, teaching others about the importance of agriculture, we belive in sustaible agriculture and being stewards of the land, we want to pass the love of farming to our children, and the list goes on. All our fruits and vegetables are grown without the use of chemical pesticides. We have a variety of fruits and vegetables and are always interested in new crops.
