About
We grow a wide variety of sustainable, wholesome and healthy fruits and vegetables right here on our farm and are making it available on a weekly or bi-weekly CSA basis. Become connected to the grower and support local small farmers by purchasing directly from the farm. At Windmill Farm, we plant it, water it, tend it and pick it so it comes directly from us to you, no middle person.
Our small farm has been a family owned and run business in Gridley since 2006 but we have been working in farming and ranching for over 35 years. Our large Areomotor Windmill in the yard is our signature farm logo. Our farm specializes in fruits and vegetables and we use current, good stewardship practices on the land and farming practices that combine composting and free range chickens for fertilizing; drip systems for watering to conserve water; plant high nitrogen winter crops to abate early spring weeds and also to add back nutrientes into the soil for the next year growing season. We have several acres of vegetables, melons, pumpkins, herbs and flowers.
