About
Randalls Corner has been part of Fiddletown and Amador County since the 1920s. It is the spot on the map where one passes between Amador and El Dorado Counties. In the day, my husband's grandfather built a sawmill and small cottages for his workers and it is near this corner that we found a comfortable home and small parcel of land on which to retire and reap the benefits of country living that we recall from our past. So far this pastoral adventure has proven to be alot of work, but we imagine a day when we become old hands at this and the work is routine.
We are stewards of happy bees that produce our hillbilly honey, happy chickens that lay farm fresh eggs, and we garden approximately 2000 square feet of space where we try our hand at growing most everything that is edible. Offering honey, fresh produce, potted plants, farm fresh eggs, and gluten-free baked goods using local ingredients. Spring and Fall harvests of wildflower honey foraged by happy bees near Fiddletown California. Sustainable beekeeping methods are used with a goal of harvesting only naturally foraged honey, and maintaining healthy bees with minimal chemical intervention. Although not certified organic, sustainable methods are used in all aspects of stewardship and production.
