About
Farmyard is an urban micro-farm at 40th St. & Indian School in Phoenix, AZ. We specialize in lettuces, herbs, and vegetables that are grown using organic growing practices in locally made compost from Singh Farms. In most cases, all of our seeds are certified organic and open pollinated heirloom varieties. We currently sell at local Arizona farmers markets, and to restaurants. We also make salad dressings that use Arizona Honey, and our herbs grown on property. All of our produce packaging is 100% biodegradable to help us keep our community green!
We also install and maintain organic gardens at private residences and for businesses. We consider a farmyard a yard, or portion of a yard, that has been converted into an urban micro-farm.
You can choose the fruits, vegetables and herbs. We design, build, and plant it for you. You can water crops rather than your yard, pick produce rather than cut your grass, and shop in your yard rather than the store.
