Ten years ago, Geoff and Theresa Dyck and their family set out from Winnipeg on a quest to learn how to grow their own food. Their journey took them to southern Ontario, where they spent two years apprenticing on organic farms. In 2003, they bought what is now Boundary Creek Farm. By this time, they were self-sufficient year round, growing and producing their own meat, milk, eggs and vegetables. They started selling vegetables at the Gimli Farmers’ Market in 2004, and in 2006 they began the CSA.
