Business Detailed:  Your support of local agriculture is good for you, your community, your environment and small family farms. The Sayre and Holloway families have been raising cattle for three generations or more on these Harford County farms. Both farms are recognized leaders in conservation, farmland preservation, and environmental stewardship. We're your neighbors and partners in the local community. There are no unknowns with our beef. We are involved in every phase of producing healthy cattle and exceptional beef. Both farms meet strict standards for the humane treatment of animals and caring for animals is an important part of our lives. Our cowherds thrive on grass and hay in carefully managed pastures. The steers are "finished" on locally grown corn with no added growth hormones, no feed antibiotics or animal proteins or by-products in the feed. Small groups of cattle are processed with care in small, Federally Inspected plants. The beef is aged at least 21 days to enhance flavor and tenderness and then Vacu-packed and frozen to safely preserve the quality.
