Our CSA contains 15lbs. per month of at least two species. A sample share comes with 1 1/2 quartered chickens, 2 lbs ground beef, 1 pound ground pork, 1 lb bacon, 1 lb sausage, 2 lb pork chops, 3 to 4lb roast and a dozen eggs. Ala carte ordering is available above and beyond your share. CSA customers get priority for prime cuts. Pick up takes place once per month. CSA customers get 5% discount on extra cuts purchased at farmers markets or on the farm.
At Thompson's Painted Hill Farm we raise heritage variety Dexter cattle and Mulefoot pigs, Free-range turkeys, chickens and ducks. We feed organic certified feed. We raise strictly grass fed cattle and pasture raise our hogs. It is our goal to raise our animals in the most humane way possible.
We sell mainly directly from the farm year round, we can also be found at Chanhassen and Mankato Farmers markets.
Our products are usda/state inspected, frozen and vacuum sealed for long freezer life.
We will sell in any quantity. Delivery is available.
