Food 4 Thought was founded in 2009 and is based in Minneapolis, MN. Food 4 Thought is a CSA-style multi-farm produce delivery service. We connect Twin Cities residents and workers to local farms, providing families and individuals with local, sustainably grown vegetables and fruit.
How does Food 4 Thought differ from traditional CSA's? Rather than working with just one farm, we work with several. This enables us to offer you a wider variety of fruits and vegetables. In addition, working with several farms helps to reduce some of the risks associated with farming, such as weather, pests and diseases. If one farm experiences flooding, we have other farms from which we can continue to receive wonderful, fresh produce. Similar to investing, we believe it is better to be diversified, rather than putting all of your eggs in one basket.
In addition to working with multiple farms, we deliver the your box of veggies to your office. We understand that committing to pick up a box at a certain location on a certain day at a certain time can be difficult for busy people. That is why we deliver your box to you. We want your experience with us to be convenient and simple!
