Clinton Falls Farm is home to 18 acres of organically grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, and hay, 6 acres of pristine pasture, and a diversity of wildlife on the remaining woodland. Our farmland is purposefully managed to reflect our dedication to Sustainable Farming, and is deeply rooted in our commitment to ensuring a healthy natural environment, a healthy and vibrant community, and a successful small family farm.
We keep a delicate mix of productive farmland in the midst of forest, with a wooded buffer along the river that reduces erosion and runoff. We do not use synthetic chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers, and we practice efficient use of water, energy, and farm resources, to ensure biodiversity as well as the economic viability of the farm.
These sustainable farming practices allow us to produce a vast array of fruits and vegetables, including strawberries, heirloom tomatoes, winter squash, and pumpkins. We also grow many varieties of annual and perennial cut flowers and woody ornamentals, including lilies, peonies, sunflowers, tulips, and over 200 varieties of dahlias.
All of our flowers, fruits, and vegetables are pollinated by the honeybee colonies kept in our pasture, and our 75+ free-range chickens produce natural fertilizer for our gardens and nutritious eggs for our customers.
We are located in historical Clinton Falls Township, nestled in a quaint valley along the Straight River in northern Steele County, just 45 minutes south of the Minneapolis and St. Paul metropolitan area.
