Our 16 acre farm is located between Gresham and Sandy. Our interest in health has led us to growing our own vegetables and berries to control the quality especially related to what we put in to the soil. We have been using sustainable farming practices for the last three years and this year want to give other people the same great quality of vegetables by offering shares in our farm. Many people are new to the idea of community supported agriculture so we are looking forward to giving this opportunity to Gresham and Sandy residents.
We believe that our health is directly related to the health of our food and where and how they are grown. We have been using compost, compost tea, and foliar feeding to keep our crops healthy as well as build up the soil.
We will harvest your share on the day that you will pick it up to insure the freshest and best quality of produce. In late May we will start with a variety of lettuces, peas, spinach, radishes and other cool weather crops. In June and July, we will expand the selection of veggies as the summer season progresses to include beans, beets, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, summer squash, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, basil, cilantro and parsley. Late summer and fall we will add corn, several varieties of squash, pumpkins and potatoes. Each week will be different and we will include flowers, and/or berries as they become available
