Business Detailed:  Contented Acres Produce uses only NOP approved practices. We are dedicated to providing quality produce to local customers while improving and maintaining a healthy soil and farm ecosystem. Through biodiversity we encourage a nature-based ecology that maintains plant health with minimal outside inputs and maximum nutritional value in our fresh fruits and veggies. Our year-round planting calendar includes mostly open-pollinated and heirloom varieties chosen with flavor and quality our top priority. Visit us 9 a.m. until noon on Sunday and Thursday mornings for fresh items picked that day! Many winter greens are in season now along with our popular and ever-changing salad mix. Romanesco cauliflower is having a short run and broccoli will be here for a while. We had a productive early winter season thanks to an early start getting our greens and lettuce mix in. Recent rains have us at a standstill until the garden dries out a bit. We hope to resume Mornngs at the Garden in early February and CSA deliveries soon afterward. When we can get back out into thegarden there will be beets, turnips, and rutabagas; several types of kale and other greens; salad mix and leaf lettuce. More broccoli, plus cauliflower and cabbage in early spring.
