The Center for a Livable Future (CLF) is a collaborative research center focused on the relationships between agriculture, diet, health and the environment. In addition to research, CLF has two program areas - Farming for the Future and Eating for the Future. The Eating for the Future (EFF) program promotes changes in food access, purchasing and consumption to ensure a safe, healthy and equitable food supply. One EFF activity is the Food System Mapping project which aims to illustrate in-depth information about Maryland's producers, consumers and the networks that connect them. The goal is to highlight policies and programs that would strengthen local agriculture, distribution systems and marketplaces.
