Easy Yoke Gardens is a small CSA and market garden in and around Millville. For the season it will offer a weekly delivery (June to October) of a large variety of freshly picked, in-season vegetables. This is in exchange for a $400 pre-season investment in the operation.
For the last three seasons, Daniel Miller, of Millville, has been apprenticing with Marge Warthesen of Many Hands Garden near Plainview. She has over 30 years of organic market-gardening experience. Daniel has also worked with Steven and Joe Schwen of Oak Center, Minnesota who have over 40 years of combined gardening experience.
Because of cost, ethics, and common sense, he uses no chemicals in growing food. He will be renting two pieces of ground from friends, both of which haven't been sprayed with chemicals in many years.
