Lanesboro Local is a non-profit venture. Our mission is to support local producers whose success directly contributes to the strength of this area's economy (SE MN). Through membership sign-ups, donations and fund-raising, we are helping build awareness of the true value of locally produced goods. Our website leads consumers to local growers, producers, restaurants, B&Bs, and retailers to facilitate the exchange of food, artisan goods, and local services. Our mission is ultimately to translate our web-based marketplace into a real brick-&-mortar -- creating a retail point-of-sale for local Farmer's Market vendors and other producers, making local goods easily available to consumers, businesses and institutions, both local and regional.
