Join us for a 28-week long seasonal adventure featuring the best tasting varieties of produce delivered to your neighborhood. Everything we put in your box is grown on our farm, and is organically grown.
The 2010 season begins the week of May 24th and goes through the week of November 30th. Membership rates are: Full Harvest Season, 28 weeks, $616 ($22/wk) Half Harvest Season, 14 weeks, $322 ($23/wk) 4 Week Harvest, $96 ($24/wk)
Shooting Star CSA is a 10 acre, CCOF-certified organic farm located in the Suisun Valley, in Fairfield, California, just a 40-minute drive from the Bay Area. We grow a diversified mix of over 35 different vegetable crops, everything from radishes to peppers. We grow our crops using compost and cover crops for soil fertility and consider our crop diversity our best form of pest and disease control.
We operate a seasonal weekly vegetable box program, known as Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). Our season runs 28 weeks, May through November. We have dropsites in Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, Fairfield, Vacaville and Walnut Creek.
