Blackberry Meadows Farm is an 85-acre farm in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. It first obtained its Certified Organic status in 1992. The farm was the first in the region to offer shares as part of a CSA.
In 2008, we (Jen Montgomery, David Boulos, Greg Boulos, Heath Gamache) purchased Blackberry Meadows Farm. We are increasing the number of CSA shares this year as well as selling at three farmers markets and to the East End Food Coop in Point Breeze and Today's Market in Oakmont.
We're excited to be key players in creating a "local food community" within the Pittsburgh Region and want to share our knowledge and passion for local organic agriculture with all those who may be interested.
