Beechwood Farms is owned and operated by Billy & Elizabeth Ledford. Billy began farming with the production of field corn on rented land in 1962. Buring the 1970's Beechwood expanded operations to include pole beans, squash, and bell pepper on land purchased in Cleveland, SC. Beechwood Farms U-Pick, our pick your own vegetables operation began in 1979 at Echo Valley in Cleveland, SC. Judy Best (Billy's sister) also started strawberry production at our present Marietta location in 1979. The U-Pick operation moved in 1981 to the Marietta farm behind J.P.S. Slater Plant. We produce a variety of different vegetables, with our largest crops being eggplants, strawberries, squash, sweet corn, tomatoes, and zucchini. We at Beechwood Farms appreciate our customers and would like to invite any one to visit us when looking for quality farm fresh vegetables and strawberries. Average Land Acreage:
