Grower/Rancher: Naylor Organics (Locale ID: CA0012)

Locale Product

White Peach: Naylor Organics’ white peaches are picked at the peak of flavor. They grow 5 varieties of white peaches that ripen from late May to mid-August. White peaches are known for their sub-acid properties. This means that it takes less sugar to make them taste sweet, so those with special diets can enjoy them, too. There are acid varieties as well such as Sugar May and Goldline. The Goldline peach is the last of Naylor Organics’ harvest season and is called a melt or “sink” peach because you have to eat it over the sink, it is so juicy. Enjoy!

Mike Naylor says, “Goldline Peaches are similar to a peach Grandfather Naylor grew that were called Nectar Peaches. Goldline Peaches have that old world flavor, but are much MUCH better. Their skins are sweet and don’t need to be peeled.”

The only way you can see the gold line is by cutting the fruit, so it’s best to serve this fruit sliced or halved.
